As we continue reading Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" we learn that some of the characters are referred to as animals.
Helena even calls herself a "spaniel"/dog!

When I was little I was very spoiled,well not a huge amount,because when I was a little kid I would want things here and there and most of the time I would get it,not everything but mostly (I would get things within REASON). It is kind of hard to guess which animal I am,I think for me the best animal would be a cat because sometimes I get really lazy and I don't feel like getting up cats are the same thing,this morning as I woke up I felt so LAZY that I knew if I fell back to sleep just a little I would end up waking up at around 10:00. I am not a big fan of cats especially if I have 2 dogs. First of all my sister is allergic to cats and my mom has a huge fear of them my other sister once had one but now she gave it to her boyfriend obviously it was because my sister and my mom just could't handle it,like I said they are not my favorite but they sure make a good expression being ME!!

DeleteI once had a cat who was 18 and a half before she died and she was very lazy as she got older.
DeleteI remember my dad telling me a story about Pinotte (the cat) always jumping under the bed sheets when the beds were being made.

ReplyDeleteI think that people who call themselves spaniels don’t think very highly of themselves because a spaniel is a bitch, so a female dog. The word bitch is often used as an insult. In a lot of William Shakespeare’s other plays people called themselves spaniels too. So it made laugh (in my head) when Helena told Demetrius that she was a spaniel. I think my brother and I are kind of like monkeys because we always run around and climb structures and we love pulling pranks together or on each other. My little brother does gymnastics and when I say gymnastics, I mean medal winning gymnast. As for me, I do kung fu so that would also make me a lot like a monkey because of flexibility and like a fierce tiger when I hit pads or other objects like a dummy, or like a smooth dragon when I use swords.

DeleteAt first I didn't know what I was reading because you didn't speak of which animal you were, but then you said both you and your brother were monkeys. I didn't think that made sense because the blog was about you alone.
DeleteIf I was and animal, I think i would be and otter. I say this because otters are super cute (And i'm not saying that because I think i look cute) They are also very agile. I also like to move around a lot. Also, otters can do funny tricks and make people laugh and i think i do that sometimes as well. Otters also swim in water (What else would they swim in?) and i really enjoy playing around and having fun in the pool!

ReplyDeleteIf I was an animal I would be a monkey. First of all because that is what it says on the chinese zodiac. And a fox because I can be sly sometimes when people don't notice. Or a pig because I do eat a lot. At least I know that I am defenitly not a bear because I don't like to sleep a lot. I like to swim but there is a lot of swimming animals out there so I can't really chose. I see well maybe like an owl and hear well like a bat. I can fix stuff like computer or figure some kind of hack or troll on the computer so I am also a dolphin so that might be why I am so good at swimming.

Deletemy personality is VERY excited i get off track easily but i can also be vicious i would say that i would be a dog because im super perky and i have a LOT of energy. my friend used to say i was like a chihuahua because my neighbors dog was always excited and sometime scary. so if a witch changed me into an animal that matches my personality i would be a chihuahua.

DeleteI think that if I where an animal I would be a squirrel. I had trouble thinking about this so I decided to try and take a personality/animal test😂 and apparently I am a warthog😂I don't even know what that is!!! I chose squirrel because I forget stuff extremely quickly and am extremely silly. They run really fast and I usually see them playing squirrel tag in my backyard :). Squirrels have LOTS of energy and so do I. I always seem to be doing something and I hate relaxing.

DeleteThe animal that suits me... uh. That’s a different question, I must say. Well, I would have to say it is a kangaroo - hands down. First, I love kangaroos. And second, I find we have a lot in common. Something that me and a kangaroo have in common is that we both play outside. Also, kangaroos are very strong. It might be me but I think being strong just runs in the family. Another thing that me and kangaroos have in common are that we both eat anything. Literally. They even eat grass right off the ground. I wish I had a kangaroo. Maybe when I’m older I can catch one right out of the wild. As you can see, me and kangaroos are pretty similar. HOWEVER, I can walk backwards and they can’t! :)

DeleteI think I'm similar to a fox because I am smart, sly, deceiving, wild, and always looking for fun. Foxes are rebels. If they don't want to do something, they don't even think about going back to do it. If someone has a bad idea and wants me to join, I won't regret my decision. (Of course I have a chance of saying yes, too.). I am cunning. If I think up a plan to do something, or a perspective of looking at something, the majority of the time I will get my goal done, be correct, succeed, be witty, clever, smart about the situation, or just make the thing work. People often think of my personality one way and not any other. I can change very, very easily.

DeleteI think my animal would be a tiger because I am brave, resourceful not too lazy and usually and up eaves dropping on a conversation. Tigers are strong and great swimmers just like I am. I am also so independent that I would live in the middle of nowhere alone if I could. Tigers are truly amazing animals like 161 is truly an amazing homeroom.
ReplyDeleteI think I am a monkey because that has been my nickname since kindergarten. I also think would be a monkey because I have a long tongue and when I pull my ears out they look really big. Though sometimes I think I can be a fish because I love to swim. In the summer I do synchro,diving,swim team and water polo. The last animal I think I can be is a kangaroo because kangaroos are all around crazy jumpy and very funny. Just like me.
ReplyDeleteI think an animal that best describes me would have to be a bear. Just like bears, I am quite lazy. Being a bear would be super fun because you could sleep all day and be left alone because everyone's afraid of you. You could also eat a lot of foods and eat honey all day, one of my favorite foods! Definitely an animal that describes me!
ReplyDeleteThe animal that I think suits me best is a tiger because tigers are fast,smart and agile, For example if I am playing ice hockey I would be a fast and smart thinker on the ice. ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure about what animal I would be so I took a quiz online and I ended up being a chinstrap penguin. I'm really happy I got a penguin because penguins are my favorite animal. It said that i'm a penguin because i'm a very sociable person and I like to hang out with crowds of people. It makes sense like at lunch I usually hang out with lots of people. Also penguins are awesome so that makes me awesome too!

DeleteIn my opinion, I think of myself of being pretty average but VERY lazy. I strive to achieve but can’t get enough of procrastination! Plus, there’s always that time of the when I’m EXTREMELY sarcastic and witty. So if I were to choose an animal that describes me, it would probably be a Koala. I chose this animal because it is very lazy, but the minute you disturb this animal you better be ready to sleep with one eye open at night. Koalas are mistaken to be very soft, quiet and boring, but in actuality they can be notably interesting, fun and lazy. They can be all of these things but they can also be utterly vicious! As in, take its food away, you better take cover for battle. Or when you ask the math teacher to put the number of the page in an equation! (I’m talking about you Peter!!) So, to sum it all up I’m generally a pretty calm, interesting, fun and somewhat vicious when I want to be!

ReplyDeleteWhat animal am I? At first I thought I was a sloth because I'm always late. But someone informed me that I could never be a sloth because a sloth has 3 toes and I have 5. So I got to thinking again and I found the perfect animal that describes my personality, an animal that is lazy, vegetarian, optimistic, loving, and friendly… A panda bear!
If I had to chose I would be a lone wolf because I have unpopular opinions and most people can't agree with me. Also when I’m working in teams I lose focus and start fooling around and making jokes while when I’m alone I complete things very easily. I find I’m just more productive without my friends,because I stop all of us from working productively.
ReplyDeleteI think I would be a wild, crazy kitten but other people say that I would be a bunny because I move a lot and can’t stop moving which is true but I think I would be a kitten because I am very playful, loving, and crazy and also kittens(cats) are my favorite animals. But the only thing that wouldn't make me a full kitten is that I hate fish. I detest fish! But I do like milk so that does make me a kitten.
ReplyDeleteI think that my personality is like a cheetah. As many of you probably all ready know that the cheetah is the fastest animal on the face of the earth. I'm not saying that I'm the fastest, but I do absolutely LOVE to run. I feel free when I run like no one can catch me. I am also a very competitive person and that goes great with running. I have a very bubbly enthusiastic personalitie, ready to take any challenge just like the cheetah. I also took the animal quiz and ended up with the result of being the "wolf". Wolfs are always in a pack, and I really like to work in a team, and like the wolf I am always in a "pack" I love to be with my friends.

If I were to choose an animal that describes me, I would have to choose a cat. Cats are really friendly, loving and sweet, but if you annoy them, that’s a whole other story. I like to think of myself as a nice person who people like to be around, just like cats. But if you pick up a cat the wrong way… let’s just say it won’t be pretty. Cats are also lazy. I think the only person who might be as lazy as me is @Alexandra, but I still think I win the lazy award. Cats are such an awesome animal, and I am proud to say my personality is pretty similar to a theirs!

DeleteIf I was an animal I would probably be a cat because I am very lazy and I sleep all the time. Once, I slept in until almost supper. They are also adorable (That is another reason why they are exactly like me). They are also grumpy if you don't give them what they want. An example of that would be if you are petting they're belly wrong, then they might hiss and then... let's just say it is not sunshine, unicorns and rainbows. But, if I had to chose one of those traits that represented me best, I would have to say the lazy one. That is why, if I were an animal, I would definitely be a kitty cat.

I'm also always free, no one can ever bring me down in the whole intire world. I am colorful in many ways. Such as coloring, painting, drawing, scketching, also in dancing. DeleteI think the animal that best describes me is a fox because they are mischievous, playful, smart, sly and love staying up late which is what I like to do. Sometimes I don't know what I am doing, but I figure it out eventually. I also find foxes really cute. That's why I like them so much and why I resemble them (the smart bit).
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose any animal to fit my personality I would probably choose the beaver. Some may think, why the beaver? The beaver is my choice because they are intelligent creatures who care for there families. They are most certainly well organized and lovable creatures. (Don't get to close though). Like myself, they take pride in what they do and it is important for it to be just right. They are hard workers, quite literally the workaholics of the animal kingdom. They have a good self-esteem and they have an amazing sense of determination. I can relate to this animal in so many ways that is why, I chose the outstanding castor canadensis, the beaver.
