At some point this week it will be (or it was) my 40th birthday.

What is your BEST birthday memory?
Why was it memorable?

Explain.

  1. My best birthday memory was probably when I was turning 10. I had a couple of friends over and that was great, but it really was memorable after they left. Since after my parents took my brother and I out to my favorite restaurant, Baton Rouge. I love their fried chicken, it's to die for! They had told the waitress that it was my birthday and I ended up getting a free ice cream sundae! Not only to I like chicken in general but I also worship the sweet cold treat. That is why my tenth birthday has some of my most memorable times.
Oh, and by the way, happy birthday!

  2. Before I begin happy 20th birthday! ;) My best birthday memory would have to have been on my 9th birthday. I remember exactly all the memories I had that year. We always do three types of celebrations with my family. Or at least we used to. We always start off by celebrating just with the family on the night of my birthday. We usually have a special dinner and have a small cake but and open small gifts from my parents and sister. The next celebration is usually my favorite. Its with my friends, and its usually a week after my real birthday. I remember that year I went with all my friends to play indoor soccer.(So like 3 friends) (Just kidding lol) Anyway we had a really fun game and ate a big cake and had a lot of fun. Some time after that I had a big party with my extended family and got a lot of gifts. It ended being a memory I will have forever because of all the people I got to hang out with that year. And also I got a macbook that year :)

  3. My favorite Birthday memory will probably have to be my 12th birthday so my recent one in June. I got so many amazing presents that I don't even know which one was my favorite! Sarah and Caitlyn got me such nice presents especially there cards, I couldn't ask for a better present from any of my friends. I had so many friends so that I know I will have lots of presents well not just that, another reason is that I was doing the Hunger Games so I needed a lot of people for a lot of groups. I had lots of best birthday parties but my 12th one would probably be one of the best one I've ever had! And that it is the most recent so I remember it better.
By the way Happy 40th Birthday Mr. Katz!!

  4. 🎊Happy birthday Mr.Katz!!!🎊 My birthday is June 2nd 🎂 I had an amazing 11th birthday party. For those of you who know the amazing race, well, there were a bunch of challenges. One of the challenges were you had to write 50 words, no more and no less, about every person at the birthday party. Another was cupcake decorating and you had to do your best to draw yourself with icing. The last one that I remember was you had to memorize a poem and say it to my parents. It was amazing. There were around 10 of my friends there so the 50 word thing took like half an hour.🎉

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 My BEST birthday was when I was 1 second old. It's my favorite because without it I wouldn't be here and that means I wouldn't have had any other second favorite birthdays. I obviously don't remember it but I know it happened in the winter because my birthday is February 26. I know my mom and dad were there and I had my birthday around lunch time. But besides that I know nothing else.

My favorite birthday memory was on my 10th birthday. My three close friends came over for the day. We decided not to stay inside so we went on an adventure in the forest. I remember it just being us and we decided to go off track. I assured them I knew where I was going and they trusted that I could find the tracks again. A half an hour into our walk we reach a lake that i had never been to before. So we ran around for a while and decided to return home. They asked me which direction it was to the track and i stood there frozen. We were lost. This story sounds scary and it was scary but it brought us closer together in some weird way. We found our way back eventually Thank god we are all safe. This sounds like a horror story we had in the best time in the forest.

  7. My best birthday memory was around 5 years ago when I had a b-day at the bowling alley (sounds pretty boring, doesn't it?) But after, I went to a pizza joint and then we watched a movie. It was awesome because it was probably the longest b-day i've ever had. But if we're not just talking about our own parties, one of my favourites was at my friends' party when we went go-karting. Go-karting is so awesome!

  8. I’ve had some pretty memorable birthdays, but one birthday that I could never forget is my 8th birthday. The year before my aunt had just gotten married and about a year later, right around my birthday (you get where I’m going here? ;) ), she had a child, my cousin, on November 2nd, the day before my birthday. At that point in my life, I had found it so cool that our birthdays were so close together, mind you my older cousin and I had the same birthday, but that was old news to me. To me, it was like a birthday present because it’s like I had my own little sister. Then, the next day, on my birthday, my family and I had gone out for breakfast...and the food was...SO GOOD!!! I’m mean I can practically still taste the chocolate crepes I had eaten. All in all, it was a great birthday!

  11. All of my birthdays so far has been pretty awesome and memorable. That's all thanks to my wonderful family and friends. For me birthdays are pretty awesome because in my case, since I'm still young the older I get the more things that I get to experience. as some of you may or may not know next Wednesday the 18th is my birthday and I'm very excited! As you should know I am a twin which makes birthdays very different. One of my most memorable birthday experiences was when I was younger we had a tradition where I would make Caitlyn a birthday cake and Caitlyn would make me a birthday cake it was always exciting to see how the birthday cakes would turn out and since we were younger they were pretty funny too. Anoughter birthday tradision that we still do to this day is my dad or my mom will make a big breakfast for us. Although I have many memorable birthday experiences I think the best gift I got was on my 11 th birthday my parents took me and my sister to the Bell centre to watch a hockey game and I had never been to a hockey game before and I am a hockey fanatic. My favourite hockey team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. That night Pittsburgh was playing agaisnt Montreal my sisters favourite hockey team. Pittsburgh won in a overtime and I was so happy.
    Thx for reading ;)

  12. HAPPY BITHDAY MR KATZ!! I love birthdays! I don't understand why most adults don't like to get older because birthdays are awesome. you get to eat cake be with your friends and family, you have an excuse for everything for example your mom wants you to do your chores... just force your sibling to do it because they have to listen because it's your birthday!! My birthday is on february 27th btw. I have a lot of birthday memories but two particularly stand out to me for two very different reasons. In grade 5 I had my birthday at skytag and i had a lot of fun with my friends. When it was time to open gifts, I opened the one from my friend julianna and A SPIDER CRAWLED OUT OF THE BAG ( as i'm writing this I have the chills...just saying) I, not even joking i'm pretty sure I have a legitimate phobia of spiders. I HATE THEM MORE THAN WORDS CAN EXPRESS. I remember this memory because it absolutely terrified me and I screamed so loud someone probably thought I was being murded. My second memory is that with my dads side of the family for about 3-4 years now we've been going to play bowling all together for my birthday. It is really funny because my uncles usually have a competition together and it's funny to watch it play out. But anyways in the end my nonno always beats us all by a long shot. everytime I wake up on my birthday, I am thankful that I wasn't born 2 days later even though it would be pretty cool and absolutely hilarious, I would've been about 4 or 5 years old right now and still in kindergarten.

  13. Happy birthday Mr. Katz we (my brother and I) hope you have the best birthday you'll ever have whole wide world. I think that my best birthday was my 11th. My friends came over for a sleepover and before trick or treating (because my birthday is on Halloween) we watched some scary story videos. My brother and I still remember some of them. It was memorable because it was really fun and we laughed all night watching stuff. That is why it was my best birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. I think my greatest birthday was my 9th birthday when I was @ lasertag with my friends. The first round was a free for all. y fiends and I teamed up while my dad went solo. We really didn't get any of the high scores. The second round was a team effort. Thank goodness we were all on the same team, the green team. We lost because, again, we were huddled up like a sandwich.

  16. My greatest birthday memory is last year when i was turning 12 on march 9 where I had a party at nemises a video game place. my friends came and played video games and other things. 17. I think my best birthday was probably my 12th birthday. It was my favourite birthday I had the best birthday cake dairy queen ever made. I super-love movies, especially Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Harry Potter. There is one movie that Towers above all others...Jaws. I. Love. Jaws. Me and my brother each got separate cakes because we share a birthday party. We sat down at the table side by side and each got a cake placed in front of us. As soon as I saw my cake I started freaking out. It was the most amazing cake I'd ever seen. Ever.

My mom said when she saw it, she could see me eating it. It was perfect. When she told the man at the counter to write my name on it, he was very shocked. Apparently he was expecting a boy's name. Girls can like human devouring sharks too. That was only my best birthday. I have a list of memorable birthday things.

On my 8th birthday party, I had some friends over. I had gotten some lipstick from my old teacher (she wasn't aware I was not the biggest fan). It was a sleepover, so we went to bed and in the morning, after breakfast, we made ourselves into zombies. LITERALLY, zombies. We drew scars on our cheeks and stitches on our foreheads. When we went to see my mom, she freaked out because she expected a bunch of eight year old girls to be princesses not zombies. We weren't even princess zombies. We were "Super Sleepwalking Birthday Party Ninja Frankenstein Zombies"(S.S.B.P.N.F.Z. for short.) Unfortunately, we had to clean of our S.S.B.P.N.F.Z. disguises before the parents came.

There was this other time when I turned six, a boy named Dylan sang "Happy Birthday Dear Cake". That really wasn't much though. Just a six year old, singing a song to an inanimate object.
    Birthdays are great.

    Happy Birthday Mr. Katz!

  19. My greatest birthday ever was my 12th birthday! On my 12th birthday I woke up and went downstairs and the kitchen was covered in balloons and streamers and of course my cake. My cake was just this big vanilla cake that was shaped like a doughnut and I have to say my family did a pretty good job. After I went to this place called A maze which was a place where they had all these rooms that you had to escape from. My parents and I did 2 rooms in total, one was that we were trapped in a jail cell and had to try to get out and solve a mystery and the other one was about this crazy Scientologist that wanted to end the world. Then after that we went to this place that had all these arcade games and I got eat and have fun! Then it was time that I got to open my gifts! My sister got me gift cards and my parents got me my first real phone, that was actually mine! After we got to see the ball drop then it was the new year 2016! The following day I had a birthday party at Skytag with 10 friends and it was AMAZING! Btw: Happy birthday Mr.Katz! I hope you have a great birthday!

  20. Birthdays. They are so memorable. Sometimes they are so memorable that you can't choose from any of them because there are so many good memories. For me, I don't really have a best birthday memory. In the past, all of my birthdays have been really great and fun. My parents always put a lot of effort into them and try to make it as special as possible. Birthdays are great!

  21. I had the best birthday when I was 5 years old I barely remember what happened but I can't tell you that is was amazing I made my own cake (it had butterflies and a rainbow) and everyone one who came were the people from down the street (we have a small neighborhood hood so I know everyone who came) the only thing I remember besides the cake was two people standing in my living room wishing me a happy birthday. I don't know if that will always be the best memory but for now it is definitely number one.the reason I love that memory is because every birthday I have my sister is the center of attention but I feel good when I remember those twins simultaneously wishing me a happy birthday because for a moment I was the center of attention

  22. My best birthday was when I was three(which for some reason the best year I can remember). My whole family came to my house and I played with my friends and cousins. We opened some presents and I got a princess kit where it had all the princess dresses... I know I'm not the princess type but I was three.

  23. I never had that much birthday moments but there was one birthday party that I could never forget. So I made this hunger games organized game with Nerf guns and it did pretty bad. But the best part was that there wasn't a lot of people who showed up. that's a good thing for me because we can do a lot more games. I also realized that the greatest outside games are water Balloon fights. They just always never seem to pop on your skin and pops on the ground so it feels like someone just slapped you right in the back really hard.

  26. Happy belated birthday! My most memorable birthday was last year. My 3 friends slept over and we decided to go see a movie the next morning. We went to bed at like 6 am and got about 2 hours of sleep, so we were all pretty tired. We went to the movie theater, got the tickets and food and went to watch the movie, but about half way through I fell asleep, but how could you blame me, the chairs are so comfy!! I ended up waking up right before the ending and no one knew I fell asleep! Definitely wasn't the greatest movie but I will remember this forever.
