Be creative and write about something you feel important or something you would like to tell your audience. Write about something you are passionate about.
You must remember your audience. It is not simply me (Mr. Katz) reading this blog!
If you will be ranting about a certain individual, you need to leave their name out of this. You could give them a pseudonym (example: Mr. Ed) or simply leave their name as anonymous.
Make sure your language is appropriate. Do not go on swearing tangents.
What I'm going to do my blog about is I decided to talk about video games. I think they are getting too realistic and graphic. Way back in the 80's, video games were simple and had only one simple goal. Donkey kong: get to the top, Pong: beat the other player, mario: beat bowser, legend of zelda: rescue zelda, etc. Now they have multiple goals and their plots canj be very weird. Once the achievement was invented, it was all down hill from there. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing. This makes the player more creative and free to explore the game and have fun! not having goals is great, if not better than having goals!!

DeleteYeah! Free blog! The topic that I will be talking about is how my day was. So first of all, it all started off with me waking to no cereal. Arghhhhhhh! Then, I went to school and alsomst missed my bus. I arrived at school and played some basketball with the sec. 2 kids. My first subject was gym which was amazing. I then had English (of course) and watched the Outsiders film. A few subjects later, I had ________. My _______ teacher handed out our test which had twenty questions but said last class that he would be generous (I am not really surprised he did this because he is never generous) so he maid the test be on ten. We got it back today and changed his mind and said it is actually on twenty!

DeleteSurprisingly I have really nothing to say so I will be talking about Glee Club. We have carnival week coming up,so I hope you guys can attend. And we will be performing all sorts of cool songs (don't worry they are not that old). I really like being in Glee Club because we get to be free, and just have fun. Knowing that you will always have friends it's just an amazing feeling. Being part of something like that makes me feel so special inside and out. We have really nice people in that club and funny ones too! We have a great time and we go to a lot of events, like the time we went to sing at the old folks home, it was an experience I will never forget. "IT'S REALLY FUN AS YOU CAN SEE, SO COME ON, TRY OUT FOR GLEE!"

DeleteSo today I am just going to rant about something off the top of my head.......hmmmmmmm.......how about Taekwondo. Recently, as some of you may know. The Quebec Games were held recently I was fortunate enough to get into the Quebec games. It was a very nice experience even though I did not win anything. Taekwondo in general is a good sport. It teaches you respect, self defence and control. It is a very physical and mental sport. I have made many friends since going there since I was seven years old.

DeleteSince it is a free blog I will talk about random things that come to mind. Obviously I read mangas and watch animes but not all animes and mangas are good like soul eaters what is that human morphing into weapons and the drawing are sort of inappropriate. To my belief I think it is more of a hentai the anime. If you don't know what I am talking about skip the next three lines. I prefer Naruto this manga has an anime word for word partially, this manga is better than soul eater and I consider you trying it out. This manga is about ninja preforming cool ninja skills etc...

I've wanted to rant about so many things it's hard to choose but honestly I'm gonna go for the amount of hone work that we . IT'S SO MUCH HOMEWORK. What I have today is this blog, math, french, Spanish and history. Teach erst don't understand that we aren't robots we can just do all our homework in five minutes and then be done. It take a while to do it and when we're done we have studying for tsets we don't need to take ,I mean I like school and I'm not trying to complaim or be rude but honestly I'm noy gonna grow up and become an outsiders enthusiast and my whole life I will make random test on the outsiders. So if I'm not gonna grow up and be a mathematician or a scientist why don't I learn stuff that's important like how to say where's the bathroom in seven different languages or what we should spend our money on ..... why do I need to learn music or an instrument I'm not good at it so why would I need to learn that stuff. Honestly teachers should leave school at school and let us be kids after. I don't have a social life but I do have to catch up on five series of modern family.

It started up with this video and series of pictures of Donald Trump going into the truck. It's really funny how it's written like a children's book and it became a children's book, but the funniest thing is how it is getting memed nonstop.

DeleteWell since it is a free blog I am going to talk about my recent vacation to Mexico. I went to Mexico during march break and had the time of my life. For a few days of the week I was being lazy and lounging around the pool,eating and swimming. But then 2 days of the week we did activities . 1 of of the days we went to an island called Cozumel which we had to take a boat for 30 minutes to go and we snorkeled! The 2nd day of activities I went to this park called Xcaret and they had all different things to do like: Swimming underground where there was these crystal things, you got to see animals( like pumas, cheetahs, parrots, tapirs, all different types), see shows, and more. Then sadly we flew back to Montreal when there was a snowstorm and we were stuck in the air for an hour waiting for the Montreal airport to get their power back on outside to direct the planes to land. Then we finally landed but not in Montreal in the middle of nowhere! It was called Royaume- Naranda in Quebec city which was 7 hrs away! But it actually wasn't a airport it was like a little hub so we had to stay in the plane to wait for the power to go back at Montreal airport. We waited in that plane for about 5 hrs and then they finally said we were going to Montreal because their power was back on! Talk about THE WORST FLIGHT EVER!!!!!

DeleteHonestly this isn't pointed at anyone directly but I think we should care about the lgbt club alot better in this school and the environnement surrounding it, lately but we should be nicer to everyone arround us and to be careful on what terms you use to call somebody because it could harm them mentally and emotionally so this was just a plain blog saying be careful on what you say to the lgbtq+ but to anyone in general. He cut 97% of the budget to save nature and trees, hes a bad man but he seems very happy about it and whats up with his obsessions with guns and walls. DeleteAnother free write blog!! For this blog, I will be writing about singing. To start it off, how and when I started singing. I started sing when I was about 2 years old, and from what I remember, my aunt had gotten me one of those play/fake karaoke sets. You know, the ones where you put a CD in and you sing along to it (btw this was in 2005, so CD’s were still a thing). Ever since then, I don’t think I have gone a day without singing!! I have memories, know, of me singing Taylor Swift in grade 3, and about my friends and I singing for a talent show and the grade 6’s being shocked, because they didn’t we could sing (we were in grade 5 at this point). I don’t think my life would be ANYTHING like it is know if I hadn’t started singing!! I love it so much, and it brings me so much happiness, joy, and peace. So, all in all, I love singing and it is something that has definitely had a huge impact on my life.

DeleteToday my blog will be about video games. I won’t go on about how much technology has changed, creating fun games, or that we’ve come a long way from Pong. I will talk about how good I am at some games. Take Pac-Man for example, I’m not an expert, but I can do pretty well in most of the levels. I’m also kind of “meh” at Halo, I started off playing Halo Reach and was terrible at the game because I had to get used to the controls. Even if I wasn’t all that great at the game, I still had some really fun times on there, like when my brother and I were chased by aliens. One game I was good at was Tron: Evolution. I was really bad at the missions but I was the best at the online multiplayer. I would always come up first in Deathmatch and my team in the Team Deathmatch would always win because I was the best. The games I’m not really that good at are the original video games like Galaga and Donkey Kong (of course not Pac-Man). I never really got the hang of those games with the joysticks or the buttons. I like having a controller with four buttons instead of three, and two joysticks instead of one.
ReplyDeleteToday my blog will be about the fun times in my drama group. Well, first we are having a little trouble getting the little kids to listen and not make funny faces at everyone who tells them to shush. Honestly, there are only about three kids like that and its kinda funny. Next are the friends that I have made. My most amazing friend there was already my friend beforehand, Ethan. He is super cool and funny and occasionally/on a daily basis slightly annoying but he's my friend. My next friends are the new friends that I have made. I am friends with everyone but h ones who stand out (not including Ethan) are Lauren, Keith, Noah and Joanna. Lauren is the only one who is even close to my age, only a year younger but she's really fun to hang around and we have a lot of common interests. Keith, Noah and Joanna are about two years older than me. They are tons of fun to hang around and really make the play a lot of fun to practice. Next are my injuries (which are all bruises) they weren't really painful, they were more funny. The first one was when we were practicing a basketball scene, Mathew bounced the basketball onto my foot and then it hit my chin and it it was painful! The second one was when we were practicing for a song involving a complicated dance. While I was lifting my arm, Noah smacked it down and I now have a bruise on my forearm. The final one was probably the most painful. It actually happened today. I was doing a reprise dance with my cast mates and at one point two girls had to get into a fight. I had to go in and they had to push me away and I had to fake a trust fall. Normal right? No. One of the girls pushed me really hard and the floor was really slippery so I slipped. Poor Keith who was standing right behind me waiting for a fake trust fall got a real "fall or I will be in tons of pain" fall. Well, he caught me all right. And by accident, He stabbed the back of my neck with his thumb!!! That was painful on my neck and his thumb. Now I know not to wear slippery socks.
ReplyDeleteMy drama group is a lot of fun and we always have a good time. It alway ends up as a joke and we can just laugh it off. The only time when it's not a joke is when our director is panicking because of how close the play is (AKA now). I love drama! :)
sooo.... as some of you guys know I went to the green day concert one week ago. (btw i'm not bragging i just really like telling this story) I had the best day of my life. Let's start from the beginning. My dad really likes to play music, more specifically guitar and drums and he was looking to sell some drums online. (this all happened like 9 months ago btw) someone contacted him and after talking to him on the phone, my dad realized that he was part of the band green day and he is the drummer, his name is tre cool. I don't know what happened but my dad did him a favour for shipping or something so tre cool said next time we go on tour i'll give you guys tickets. Not too long ago he texted my dad and confirmed the days and told us we where on the will call list (which is pretty much the family and friends that they invite to the concert). Being on that list means you can only get your tickets the day of the concert. So we left home after school and went down town to get our tickets and THEY WHERE SO CLOSEEEE!!!!! Everyone was waiting outside of the bell centre to get to their seats fast but we weren't worried. We wanted to go out and eat so we went to baton rouge.------Side note, every show, the drummer hides two pairs of signed drum sticks in the venu------ So we ordered our food and my dad got a text and it was from tre cool. It said "you better hurry to your seats �� without delay... especially seat number 7" and we where like WHAAAAAA. So we cancelled our order and went to the bell centre (we would've gone to our seats and come back but once you're in the bell centre and you l leave, you can't go back in). So we went to our seats and there where a pair of signed drum sticks that said to lorenzo gemma (my dads name) and we all FREAKED OUT. we ended up eating at the bell centre and then watched the concert. During the concert the drummer would casually look and wave at us and it was so coool!!!! Over all i am so happy i got this amazing opportunity and I am extremely great full for the experience.��
ReplyDeleteWell this is great! Free blog of our choice. Well I was going to write something about all my stress and homework loading on. But, something happened after school today that I think would be more interesting. My riding lesson. Now that we are preparing for competitions, we start to do more sets of jumps. Well my pony hates a long distance so when I landed incorrectly she decided it was time for me to get off. In other words I fell hitting my back. I got back on and redid the set and all was well. When we tried something new, I went over the jump and she didn't like it so my pony threw me off. Again! I got back on and finished the jumps. This just shows that once you get thrown off, it is the literal meaning of pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back in the saddle. I felt proud of myself because instead of decreasing my confidence, it only increased! Believe in yourself kids!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited that I get to have a free blog yay! So I'm going to rant because I have to much on my mind. So to start off I have a question for everybody did you ever come to a point in your life where you just have too much on your plate, too much to worry about and too much to stress about, well that is how I am feeling. Number 1 is if you haven't met me or really know me well I am EXTREMELY clumsy and forgetful I loose everything. Just this week I already lost my phone twice, my keys 3 times, my pencil case and my lunch. Just to give you an example today I forgot to have breakfast which is really bad. My dad says that I'm just not thinking which is going to get me into trouble. No matter how hard I try to remember it just slips away. I also find that when I study really hard for a test and I know everything to a t and I can do everything perfectly, the next day I will take my test get it back a week later with 50%, are you kidding me! Then when I look over my answers I realized that it was just because I mixed up one thing with anouther or when test time comes I stress and forget everything. I've always been a extremely hard worker and I always do my best. Maybe it's because I go to bed to late I don't know. Anouther thing I'm having problems with is my self confidence, I'm always worried what people think of me and to be honest I shouldn't, I shouldn't question myself. I need a vacation let me tell you. ReplyDeleteReally? Another free choice blog? I hate these, but let’s make the best of it. Considering my life is pretty boring, and I don’t really have much to talk about, I am going to be talking about my step family. My parents got divorced when I was about 3 and my dad then moved to Ottawa. Shortly after, my dad met my step mom, who had 2 kids. I was SO mad. I was so used to having my dad all to myself, but that changed when he met her. For a while, I hated my step mom because I felt like she was trying to replace my mom. I treated her terribly, and always told my dad how much I hated her. Finally, after about a year, I gave her a chance, and believe it or not she is now one of the nicest people I know. I look up to her. She has taught me so much, and done more for me than I could ever imagine. I started playing more and more with my step sister who is only one month and 20 days younger than me, which is pretty cool. Even better, her brother is only 16 days younger than my sister. My step sister and I bonded immediately. We liked the same things, still do. My step sister, Gaby and I are now so close, and my step brother is the coolest person ever. It is honestly pretty cool having 2 families, because it is like living 2 totally different lives. I couldn’t ask for a better step family.
ReplyDeleteFor our free blog I will be writing on how this week has gone so far. So it started off on Monday with me having a bad stomach ache but I still went to school. Though I left after lunch. Tuesday I felt perfect so I was like yay school then I'm ready for dance let's go. Then today I wake up I have a fever and can't go to school so I'm very excited to find out what is going to happen tomorrow. I can't believe I'm saying but I actually saying this I really want to go to school tomorrow. Ohhhhh and by the way my mom is the one to blame for all this she got me sick.

DeleteToday I am going to be talking about Makeup. Because My cheeks are a natural blotchy red I thought it would be better if i got a little bit of foundation to cover it up. My mom said I could easily spend 50 dollars on the makeup at MAC and I thought i could at least buy maybe 3 things before i go over 50. But because it's mac the foundation and the brush were each 50. And it still irritates my skin when I put it on. I appreciate girls so much after this week. There lives are so annoying and I still cant get my foundation evenly on my face.

DeleteUGGGGGGGGGG being sick is the absolute worst!!!! i have been sick for the past four days and i'm not feeling better. It seems that you take advantage of the times when you aren't coughing or sneezing constantly. When I was little i thought that being sick was the best because you got to stay home, eat soup and watch tv. Why me??? Why get sick all of a sudden? Why is being sick so terrible?
