I am passionate about having fun at home and not going to school. Too bad that won't happen on friday. I had big plans to do on friday, I was going to a party of someone who doesn't have school that day. It is extremely unfair that they have to take away the only meaning of this cruel world and only escape from the living heck known as school. But apparently, 179 days is a millennium away to what we are supposed to have so it is okay to crush our dreams by slaving us into another 24 hours of pure torture. BTW sorry if I got off track with my blog I am truly passionate about being at home.

If I were to write about anything I would write about how we have school on Friday!! Jokes!! I won't write about that I will write about let's see.......... I will write on My soccer team. I play for 14 years old so I play one year up! We had our first game 2 weeks ago and we lost 2-1 but we did our best and our next game is in 2 weeks against Pierrefonds. We are doing really well and I think we will have a great team this year!! Thank you for letting me share this with you guys!

DeleteI guess most of us will talk about the school day on Friday. "Trolololololololololol" I will talk about our great win today Monday may 15. Our rugby played against Loyola the "Undefeated" Team that we beat. We won 49 to 40. I had to play fly half Justin, Matthew, Ryan, Nickolas. But yes the day on Friday is just unfair but still life is not fair. Just to clarify The dance is Friday and not from 6:00 to 9:00 it is 7:30 to 11:00.

DeleteFor this final blog, I will be talking about how we SHOULD NOT have school on Friday. Most of you are probably thinking the same thing as me: "WHY?!" The reason why we have school on Friday is because of Mother Nature. There was a flood so it was hard for people to navigate or go to school. The good part is that I was away from the floods and all I did was play outside with my friends. Anyways, I think that the extra day of school should be tooken away because it wasn't even are fault and it is a four day weekend so people have plans.

DeleteOk so most of you are probably thinking that I am going to be talking about having school on friday because of how i reacted in class but I'm actually not going to.....just kidding that's exactly what I'm going to. Ok I don't know if it's just me but I find this decision very annoying and dumb. BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING I GET IT LIFE ISN'T FAIR BUT COME ON SERIOUSLY???! Ok so, I was going to go to the dance on THURSDAY with my friend samantha who I haven't seen in MONTHS. We where really excited to see each other because it has been so long and THEY MOVED IT TO FRIDAY WHICH MEANS WE HAVE SCHOOL ON FRIDAY AND NOW SHE CAN'T COME. But that's another story. I am just really angry that we just couldn't have 179 days of school like COME ON that's one day less . do you really think that one more day of school is going to make or break my education? Because I can guarantee it won't. It's one day. ONE DAY. 179 is still a lot of days to be in school. They couldn't let us just have fun and give us the day without having to take off a ped day. We did not decide to have a flood day and neither did they so just leave it as something natural that happened. We had no control over it so why penalize us with another day of school if we didn't have anything to do with the decision to close school. I really don't want to come on friday, I would obviously rather stay home and do nothing, but even if we did have no school friday, teachers would probably also give us homework so I guess we lose either way.

During the year, I don't know if you noticed, we have been writing blogs about twice a week. Mr. Katz would (Usually) give us interesting topics to write about, and this would be a really fun way to express our opinion on a certain subject and expand our writing capability in the English language. Sometimes, they are annoying to do. But most of the time, they are fine. Let's say that I am happy they are over.

DeleteOk I'm going to talk about something that really annoys me to no extent, the dress code rules in the agenda are only towards girls......like how is that fair?!? First of all I have huge long arms making shorts almost impossible and even when I wear shorts that are an ok length Mr x always calls me out on it even though they are perfectly fine and then he embarrasses people who's shorts are just ok in front of the whole class. This is so annoying in my opinion I think that if it covers the whole bum then it should be fine. Also in the agenda it CLEARLY states no shown under garments which is fine and all but how about when guys where there pants all low and saggy and everyone can see there underwear, are you kiding! That is showing under garments but yet I never see any guys getting dress coded. First of all I don't know who evented the style of "low riding" but it is neither cool or attractive I find it kind of weird and inappropriate. I understand if the outfit is very inappropriate then girls should get dress coded but I think that the dress code rules need to start applying to both genders and that they need to let the girls alone a little.

So, what I am going to do during the first week of summer break (from the 26th of June until the 3rd of July) I will be going to Europe. After that, when I come back, I will be going to day camp for 6 weeks. After all that I will be chillin' at home!
ReplyDeleteToday I will be talking about my paintball experience on Saturday. It was really different than when I went the first time. The first time it was indoors and a lot scarier because it was close quarters combat. This place wasn’t just outdoors but it was super big as well. There was a forest on both sides of the map but one side had a bigger forest. I got really muddy and hurt when I was there. But I liked it because there were some parts that were really muddy so you got stuck. That was probably one of the biggest disadvantages. There were also more places to take cover and more buildings and more mountains. The place looked like world war two. I spent most of my time with my friend and our commanding officer. Yes there was someone who was leading our team. He was telling my friend, some other guy and me to come and help his little squad. Then he told us to take the bridge that was right in front of us. People were shooting at the bridge so it was difficult to cross, but we made it anyways. After that we made an assault on the hill and captured it. My friend and I were defending on our own, and that was probably the hardest thing to do. Then backup arrived and helped us clear out all the guys. That is the end of round one. I’m not even going to explain the next three rounds because they were really intense.
ReplyDeleteMost people are going to rant about school on Friday. But honestly, Friday might be fun. Think about it, another day to get to see your friends, when most teachers will give absolutely no work and let you have a free period, at least that's what my teachers said. And after the most likely fun day, I have a rugby game with the boys, and then after our easy win is the dance! I'm actually looking forward for this Friday!

DeleteAlright, so I know we’ve already talked about this before, but I’m going to talk about women's rights. First of all, yes I know life is unfair and all that, but I believe that women have been treated unfairly because of some people’s wrong beliefs (in my opinion they are wrong) and not because life is unfair. So, let’s talk about the wage gap. I think that it is absolutely crazy that some people think it’s FAIR to pay a women less than she deserves. That’s like telling someone that they are only worth $5. Not exactly the best thing in the world to do to someone, right? I mean women have been struggling with equal rights and equal pay in the workforce for MANY MANY years! YEARS, and yet it still seems like we are getting nowhere with this. For the most part, both men and women think that all women should be payed the right amount, but there are still men that are insecure that their wife, sister, mother, or coworker are making more money than them. That’s not the only reason that I believe men are insecure about women making more money. I believe that men are insecure about this because they are suppose to be the “provider” of the family, and because a woman is making more money than them, it is something different that they are not used too. Women all over the world have been working for equal rights and pay, in this case, and there are still people holding them back. Women deserve equal rights in any part of the world, whether it be in the workplace or just in general, and advertising that women are as equal as men, it encourages little girls to understand that they can do anything a guy can do. It encourages them to understand that they deserve just as much as guy deserves, and hat just because they are a girl they can’t do something a guy can do, because we are ALL equal.

DeleteToday I will be taking inspiration from Alexandra, and speaking about LGBTQ+ rights. Like Alex said, it is just a wrong opinion and we are being treated unfair by some people. We are just like everyone else and no, this isn't a choice we made, its who we are. Just because someone's thoughts and sexuality is different than someone else's doesn't mean that the moon will never fall down because of one person. It means that there is one more person in this world who is just like us. Christianity (my religion) is not in favour of LGBTQ+ people. It is not something that I am proud of in any way, but I wouldn't change my religion for my family, something that I honestly wish I had the strength to do (sorry mom and dad). I wish people would realize that everyone is equal, LGBTQ+, women, different races, different religions, different personalities and everyone who walks, talks and breathes on this planet earth.

ReplyDeleteMy free topic today will be about dance. For the people that don't know I'm a very competitive hip hop dancer. I have really good team at dancing cause we never get last but I have a really bad team in friendlyness and being nice to one another. We are not at all like a team we fight all the time. Though at the end of the day we are all still friends. Now to talk about my competitions so the first competition I was in we came in first we were in a division called pre worlds which is the second best division. Then since we did so well they decided to put us in the best division for our next competition which is called worlds division. Which was the worst decision ever we were so not ready the people we were up against. They were way better, stronger and harder. Though we came in third. I've had way more competitions but there is too many to talk about so I'm done... If your cool figure how many times I wrote WHICH.
ReplyDeleteSo today I went to the doctor because I've been sick for awhile and every year I get sick around this time so they went to get an allergy test. So I was with my doctor and my dad brought up that over the weekend I got a migraine and I lost part of my sight and that a few years ago I had to go to see an eye doctor because I could barely see. Anyway long story short every time I start to have a headache I have to take this pill to get rid of the headache or else for the rest of my life I will get really bad migraines. Then my dad brought up that I walk weirdly (I don't know why) and she told me I have weak ankles and that I have to do exercises for it. Finally I told my doctor that my ears have been blocked for over two weeks now and she gave me this spray thing for my nose that I have to take twice a day for the next month. After all that I never even got to take an allergy test because before I can get tested I need my ears to unblock. Just great!!

The reason I am mad about this is not because I don’t want to go to school Friday, even though I don’t, but I am mad because they only told us like 3 or 4 days before the actual day. I feel so bad for all those who planned a trip or something because we were supposed to have a 4 day weekend, BUT NO! I know people have different opinions about this, but mine is that this sucks, and is messing with everyone’s schedule. Overall, this sucks. Thanks for listening to my rant, okay bye.

It's going to be super hot so I can go to the pool and I can jump on my trampoline and absolutely do nothing. Some days I can be super productive like cleaning the house or going to see my friends. Or I can be as lazy as I want. I could just watch Netflix and eat all day!!! I can't wait until summer comes because I know it's going to be a blast!

All the presure is on you and if you don't make the right call or smt you're the one to blame. This bugs me soooooo much because sometimes I k ow excactly whay I want but most of the time I'm stuck in between two things. I hate when this happens because what happens if I pick the first option or what happens if I pick the second. ReplyDeleteWell, it's finally here! The final blog! For today's blog I think I'll just talk about one thing we're all waiting for, summer. Not only that but the exams that are coming up. Don't we all just wish we could skip exams? Move in right to swimming, riding your bike and having literal fun in the sun. To be all honest, I am really nervous for the exams because it is something I've never done before. I don't know what to expect! Ignoring the exams though, I cannot wait for summer because I will be doing my horseback riding competitions this summer. So I will be training hard these next few months because after all, I'm on a new pony and both of us have never done cross country. ( Cross country is when you are in forests and you have to go over jumps as fast as you can, some jumps can be like logs or even water!) All in all, I cannot wait for summer. Can you?!
ReplyDeleteFor this free project I want to talk about homework, and especially projects because yesterday I had so many things to work on and I barely even got it a week ago. the project are so piled up on each other. There are days that we barely get any homework. But then in one day we have 9 hours of homework and yes, I do do homework spread out when I have it. It seems like teachers are trying to pile up all the homework at the end of the year because even they forgot to give it to us earlier.
