Winter is BACK!

Imagine the possibility of a SNOW DAY!

How would you react to a SNOW DAY? How would you spend the day?
What would you miss most about a day at school?

Explain.

  1. A snow day! Great, I can de-stress and sleep in for a while. My reaction would just be total amazement and disbelief, this is because I have never experienced a snow day. How would I spend the day? Relaxing inside either sleeping or catching up on homework. Going outside in a snowstorm like this? No way! However, I think the thing I would miss most from school would probably be the fact that I won't see my friends. I mean, these are the people who help me relax and de-stress so a day without these great people in my life can be hard. But, a snow day does madam I can stay in and do nothing and try to rest off my cold. So this does indeed co e to my advantage in the end. Happy snow day everyone!

  2. “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!” was my reaction when I heard today was going to be a snow day. I have never been happier!! Even though we JUST got back from march break, this day off was much needed. My schedule for today is: eat, watch Netflix, eat some more, watch more Netflix and then sleep. (Why I’m doing homework right now is a question I can’t answer…) The thing I miss most about school is… Oh wait… NOTHING. I guess I kinda miss my friends, but I’ll see them tomorrow. On the bright side, I’M MISSING GYM!!!!!! I only have it once this week and I get to miss it!! It’s obviously my least favourite subject.

  3. It is a snow day!!! We found out from the school board last night. Seriously! We have to go back to school for a ped day though because of the snow-day:(
But hey! We don't have school today so yay! I guess. Even though schools are closed my brother still has gymnastics tonight. I don't have much to do today anyways so I'm bored. So school wouldn't be that bad in the end.

  4. Well, I don't have to imagine if it was a snow day because it is one! I wouldn't really get crazy and start screaming joyfully but I would definitely be happy. Yesterday, when I checked the LBPSB website and saw that it was a snow day, I was super excited. So far today, I started by shovelling all the snow for an hour and a half (I sure got a workout). Then I'd play with my friends and go skiing for the rest. Honestly, I wouldn't miss school too much. The things I'd miss are the cheesy bread (because it is Wednesday), all my friends and my fun subjects like English!

  5. Luckily, there was a Snow day on Wednesday! Yay! Most people really enjoyed it, like me! (except Mr. Katz)I spent most of the day relaxing and chilling, then, out of nowhere! I was commanded to shovel the front walkway! Noooooooooooooo! (Actually, it was not that bad, my sister was doing the side walk way so we could talk) Then we had pancakes and had fun. Now, what would I miss the most about school? Probably the fact that it was day 4, my favorite day. (because of the way the classes are in order.) That, and lunch of course with friends!

  6. When I heard that school was cancelled because of a SNOW DAY I was so happy!!! If school wasn't cancelled and it was a snow day then I would be mad. Snow day's are fun when you don't freeze your butt off!! I spent my snow day watching TV and studying!😭 I wanted to go outside but it was cold. I didn't spend my entire day inside I took my dogs out for a walk. I also walked to the Dollarstore and got some school supplies. What I missed about school was that it was DAY 4 my favourite day!!!!!! I have gym and art and it was wasted, now I have to wait until Monday to have my second favourite day. I also miss seeing my friends but I face timed some of them.
Thanks for reading comment down below

  7. When there is a snow day I’m usually in complete and utter disbelief. My brother had told me that we had just gotten a call that there was a snow day, and all I could say and think was “You’re kidding me right?...No, you’re joking!”, and so on. The night before, I kept on checking if I had turned off my alarm, because, you know, I would like to sleep in. Finally, on the morning of the snow day I woke up, looked outside and saw that my neighbors cars were completely underneath the snow. After that, I basically just did nothing the entire day except for watch youtube/TV and eat. During the snow day, I didn’t really miss much about school, except for being able to see my friends. Other than missing my friends, I was pretty content with my day, and I wouldn’t have it any other way...no seriously. Can we have another snow day Monday?

  8. My reaction to a snow day i feel ecstatic and i'm super shocked at first, but then i grip my mind around it and i feel very excited. As far as I remember, I've never had a snow day. I would spend the day playing on my video games, because that's what kids do these days, but I would also like to read peacefully and play in the 6 feet of snow. What I would miss most about school is probably my friends, but not much else.

  9. I LOVE SNOW DAYSSSS had so much fun! I am really happy that we got one. I am happy that we got an early heads up though because if we didn't then i would wake up at like 6 then not be able to fall back asleep. I spend my snow days sleeping, watching tv, on the internet, playing with friends i don't get to see during the school week and eating. The only thing i miss about school is being able to see my friends, but sometimes it's good to just have a break from everything and well deserved time to relax.

  10. When my mom told me she got a message from the school board saying that we were going to have a snow day, I got all excited. It meant I didn’t have to do all my studying on Tuesday and I could sleep in on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I woke up at 6 A.M because of my alarm. I went back to sleep and woke up at 8 A.M. I went downstairs and relaxed for a while. After that we had to go outside shoveling, and it was difficult. After my brother and I built a path so we can get into our minivan, I decided I wanted to play for a little bit. When I was done playing I helped my parents in shoveling the driveway. After that I went inside and I played with my brother. I ate lunch, studied, played again, watched a movie, ate supper, watched TV then went to bed. That was my snow day. I really didn’t miss school all that much… I just got mad when I realized my test wasn’t going to be on Thursday when I studied for a long time on Wednesday.

  11. I would react to the announcement of a snow day by almost celebrating. It is almost a miracle that we get a midweek break. A day off of stress and a chance to not be stressed out for once. I would probably do homework and projects like I did on the most recent snow day. I spent all say working on the drawing for my english project. It took me about four hours but in the end, it was an amazing way to spend a snow day and well worth it. If I hadn't done my project on the snow day, I would've never finished it. It was a huge relief when the snow day came in and almost a miracle. I would only miss my friends and the fun classes that I take. There aren't many things that are at school that I can't have at home. That is why there are only certain things that I miss from school.

  12. My react to a Snow Day is dangerous. You'd almost have to lock me up in my room so I don't break anything. I will jump up and down for about half an hour until I get tired and then I will go get food. A little snack like maybe 10 chicken wings or something like that and then I snooze away for the rest of the time until around 5pm on the snow day of 2018. Usually what I do on the snow day after 5pm is ask a friend if they want to go to the mall and get food, clothes, lush, food, clothes, food, lush, squish, food, did I mention food? Anyways, after that I would go home and eat some more, do a bit of homework and then snooze away around 2am. Wake up at 6:30am and go to school. That's my snow day!!! How was yours!!! FFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. The Snow day make me so frustrated. It was just a day tat was boring, it was a day where I didn't do anything. Because I like to refer to myself as a planning pessimist. I cram thing in at the last second but I still plan when I am going to do it. like today I had a little time period before my tap dancing to do my music (which I did). Besides that the snow day was filled with nothing to do so all it did was make me feel guilty for not doing my homework.

  14. Well first things first I would miss nothing about school. I would not miss school because we are always working and doing homework even on weekends so it would finally be a break time. I would probably stay home because the reason it is a snow is because the roads are bad. So if a bus can't drive me why should my parents. In my timing being at home I would watch Netflix, play with my cat, go on YouTube and sleep. So my day would be very relaxing and not very productive.

  15. I don't think we have to imagine a snow day because we had one. The only snow day I've ever had were in like 3rd grade. I personally HATE snow days cuz you're basically not able to go out and do anything you just stay home locked in your house all say. It's was the longest day of my life I had to shovel all the snow on my steps and aside front that I did absolutely NOTHING! I was not very productive on wedsneday but it was okay because for once o talked to my sister and I got time to think and just relax. The reason I hate snow days is because you basically relax the whole day but I'm very energetic so if I don't burn that energie I go crazy the next few days. The one thing I like about it was I got to play around with my pets wich made my day a little better.

  16. How did I react to the snow day? Well I was getting ready for bed, and I was so excited! I woke myself back up pretty much and went downstairs to watch tv pretty much all night. I spent the next days, the snow day with some friends at the movie and saw the movie "get out" which was pretty amazing. Hope another snow day happens again some time soon!

  17. If I had snow because I did but I would reacted like a crazy fool. To be honest I would not do what people do when they get snow days I would wake up and go downstairs to the basement and play video games at like 6am but the snow day I got was different from others I didn't play video games I watched animes. I did not miss anything about school that day.

  18. Snow days are the days to relax. A snow day is always good news it's the day to spend your time doing nothing. It's like a mini vacation where you don't have to do anything at all during the day. Although snow days are awesome it's twice as much work the next day of school. You have to do catch-up all day and you don't get to see your friends. In conclusion snowdays are amazing and kids need more of them.

  19. Snow days are the best! It's that time to relax and to do absolutely nothing. All I would do really nothing other than watching Netflix taking pics and keeping up on the social media. Well there would be not much that I would miss from school other than my friends. Since they do make me laugh all the time and make me smile. Also the caf cookies because they are the best!
