  1. I haven't changed that much since the beginning of the year because it hasn't been THAT long...but I think my opinions of stuff have changed a whole bunch. Before I started high school, I thought it would be super difficult, but it's not THAT bad. I thought we would get crazy amounts of homework because I read this comic which totally exaggerates high school. I think I am still a child because I still play pretend and LARP with my friends. I think I'm still a child inside because I still feel like high school has still yet to come and I'm just getting it easy.

  2. Since I was not in high school for a long time, I don't think I changed so much from eight months ago. Since there is much more work than elementary school, I do think I became more organized and more 'on top' of things. I also think my level of maturity has grown a bit. I think I have grown physically and mentally. I have developed more passions in things I never did. I do not think that I feel that I am a child or that I act childish.

  3. First; sorry I am sick and I haven't been coming to school since Tuesday. I am feeling sick right now. TT___TT
I think I've changed a tiny bit like how I am more controlling of my ADHD partly because of my meds and partly because I can try to control it. I feel smarter and I feel like I have more fun in high school than in elementary school. I guess I got a bit taller than I was but I'm still very short compared to everyone else. I don't feel like I'm still a child. I feel like I'm older!!

  4. I would say that since I was in grade 6 in my elementary school (Dorset) I have changed quite a bit from that time. I would say hat everyone thinks they become more mature in some way once they start high school, and that, in some ways, is true. I definitely think my personality has changed, I am now more sincere and try o be funnier to people, speaking of my sense of humor, that has improved as well. From fart jokes, to poop jokes. A huge improvement. I no longer think i am a child and have grown up quite a bit.

  5. I would say I have grown in size and I have changed but just a little. I can be less annoying or not even annoying but I choose not to because it is funny to see people suffer. Like I said I changed but not in every criteria. I don't really fell like a child though I fidget a lot. Like Logan said I in elementary school people thought lame jokes were funny like fart or poop jokes or yo mama jokes. Now it is just sad if you that is funny when in high school.

  6. I have changed like in my size and personality. I am more organized in High School because their are more subjects. I also changed in my attitude my sisters think I got meaner but that's just them talking. My attitude has changed I have become more patient. Obviously I will always be the little girl that wished of becoming a princess one day!!!!!!!! High School is very different from Elementary it's a big change, new attitude and new year!!

  7. since the start of high school, i have grown up physically and kind of mentally. I say kind of because i am still very immature but for different kinds of things. I have definately changed because now i am more patient and i am more organized and there has been a significant improvement in my marks at school and i am more confident in myself. I definately still consider myself as a child and think that i always will kind of act like one. As a very wise man once said (harry styles) "Age is a number, maturity is a choice". That quote is literally my life motto because, I am positive that I will always have that inner child side of me no matter how old i get.

  8. I don't think I've matured that much I mean I'm more responsible and more organized but other than that in a child at heart. I love to fool around and take risks because that's what you're supposed to do . I have fun 24/7 and my heart is always racing I'm normally happy and that's how I think people should always feel. I ratherosclerosis not be as mature as I sold be because then you have responsibilities and stress wich isn't fun. I will say that my friends have made me a better person they haven't gotten me to mature but I think they're getting there. So overall this year I have matured in some ways and in other I lost myself and got more immature.

  9. When I first started high school, I would say I tried to act somewhat mature, but still childish, because honestly, how could you not be childish?? I feel like I’ve definitely grown up because I try to take the high road more often, and I don’t really get into arguments about stupid things as much. I don’t really think I’ve changed much, though I do feel like I’ve matured throughout the year. Even though I am 13, because apparently that’s the age people start calling you a teenager, I still feel like I am a kid, but I do think that I am getting more mature.

  10. I don't think I've changed that much because deep down I'm still a kid. I used to be pretty curious and a daredevil and i still am. In elementary school my friend dared me to eat her gum that fell on the floor and of course i could t turn down a dare so I did it and shortly after I realized she had a grape lollipop because the gum was suppose to taste like mint not grape.

  11. I think I've changed a bit in terms of how I act and how I manage different things. I think I'm more mature and I don't get upset as easily and I think that when I cry it's about more important meaningful things to me. When I was younger I was known for being very athletic, high energies and very easy going. I beleive right now that I'm still all of those things, I'm super high energies and I'm up for any sports any time. In my heart I will always be a Young child and I will still love Disney and still have a wild side as well as a wild imagination. I hope that when I grow old I will still be the same wild six year old sitting in front of the tv at 5 am whatching looney toons and that I won't grow old and be crotchety but I hope I grow old with someone I love doing the things I love.

  12. I've changed only to the point where I may stress more over a test or high mark. I believe I've grown up slightly. I've always thought I was more mature but I think I've grown up on the physical side with my hieght and appearance though. At heart, I still do think I'm a child. Just in the way I think and act. However I must say I am more mature then most kids.

  13. I don’t know if I have grown up at all. I think I’m still at the grade six maturity level. That’s not the best maturity level to be but it will have to do for now. Hopefully I get more mature when I get to Sec. 2 (I almost certainly will). Probably the only difference is that I have grown in size. I am growing pretty quickly and my mother doesn’t like it. That is how I have grown up. I also think that I have become more organized and more relaxed than the beginning of the year. But my parents must think I’ve grown because they give me more responsibilities like babysitting and making supper. And yes I do still feel like a child, and I always will be child until I’m past my teen years. Or, my mom thinks boys never grow up, so I guess I will be a kid forever.

  14. I honestly, don't think I have changed that much since I started high school. I began looking into IB qualities and reflecting on my school day daily. Another that I have started, is I have started writing. You can not ask Peter or Jordan about this, but my first book (attempt) was a complete and utter failure. I still write even though my work probably sucks, but...hey. Why not? Even though I am in high-school, I am still sorta like a child. Still spend hours on the swing set (record: 2:46:38). Yes sometimes I time myself, but once again that is something that is very childlike in me. Another thing is that I love fictional characters more than i love most humans. Examples: Anakin Skywalker (beginning of "Revenge Of The Sith"), Hermione Granger (all "Harry Potter" BOOKS), Severus Snape (all "Harry Potter" BOOKS), Ian Malcolm ("Jurassic Park" books and first movie) and finally but absolutely not Simba ("The Lion King"). Those are ways that I am still childish and have also changed since I got into high school.

  15. Since the beginning of high school until today, I have changed a lot. I have gotten much more independent and I have learned to stay organized. In elementary, we would be allowed to bring our backpacks to class. We had one classroom. We could go get something in our locker. Barely ANY homework. And, not as much swearing and detentions and stress. Now we have 5 minutes to get from class to class. 5!!! I have definitely grown up and I do feel as if I'm still a child. But I only will for another month or so. Turning 13 on June 2nd. Last day of classes, national donut day and... I don't know. Some other things. Maybe.😁

  16. I think I changed sooo much since the begging of the school year. In terms of study habits, making new friends, and going out often I think I've really changed and my parents really noticed. I definitely feel more grown up now because of all the freedom high school offers that elementary school doesn't, as well as the fact that I always meet up with large groups of people in Fairview or in restaurants or at people's houses. But this is all the internal changes, as for physical changes, I grew 4 inches in less than a year, and gained over 25 pounds since last year. I definitely think I'm different from at the start of the year!

  17. I have definitely changed since high school has started. Phisically and mentally. I think i have gotten a lot more mature and responsible, and i have also learned how to manage time better. I think i have grown and changed a lot and it sometimes feels like I'm a totally different person. Although i have grown up, i think there are still things that keep me young, and childish for example my friends and family. I feel like when I'm around certain people, i just go back to my immature childish self, which sometimes isn't a bad thing.

  18. Just making it clear. I never really thought I was more grown up than what I was in elementary. Not that I feel like a kid but I already felt more grown up when I was in grade 5. there wasn't really a level of growing up that I needed to overcome in High school. I also haven't changed. It's probably that me and My friend surprisingly had the same outgoing friend in elementary and that's why we both act bat sh*t crazy because we both had the same bat sh*t crazy friend. he was her friend in kindergarten and I was her friend in grade 5 and 6.Good times, Good times.

  19. Since the beginning of this school year I feel like I have changed but not in a good away. At the beginning of the year I was like I'm going to be organized I'm not going to do things last minute but now I do the what I did't want to do. I also think that I have grown up and realized that I have to let go of fake friends.

  20. I find that I have changed a lot compared to when I started high school. At the beginning of the year I was very shy and only hung out with my friends from elementary. I wasn't interested in making new friends at that time. I was more focused on school and homework. Now, I think I have found the right balance of hanging out with my friends and also getting my work done. I am very glad that I finally got out of my shell because the friends that I made have turned out to become my best friends and I am very glad that it worked out.
